OSHA revises requirements for Outreach Trainer Program instructors

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has revised the requirements for authorized trainers in its Outreach Trainer Program. The outreach program trains workers and supervisors to recognize and prevent safety and health hazards on the job, and to understand worker rights and employer responsibilities.

New Outreach Cards, Electronic Database for Verification Now Available

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is now offering more secure cards for its Outreach Training Program, including 10-hour and 30-hour classes. Classes are taught through the OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers, a national network of organizations authorized by OSHA. At the conclusion of the courses, students previously received completion cards printed on paper.
